Hey all, just in the neighbourhood and thought I'd stop off for a cup of coffee and some gossip. Well, no gossip this time sorry, but I do have an information update.
When I was let go by AOL last week, I ran home (not really - walked quickly actually) and applied online for a position with StatsCan, doing phone interviews. So, that payed off, and as of yesterday I am an employee of StatsCan. Now I just need to keep this job. This month here, month there stuff has to end. Impossible to get any type of savings, or, pay back student loans...which are now in repayment status as of this month. I spent some time on the phone with them all though and have the interest relief status pending....thankfully....if I allowed all to go to repayment, I figured my monthly would be around $500. I think I'll renegotiate those interest rates and monthlies before the interest relief ends.
As for my domestic situation, well, it's as tentative as ever. Sometimes it seems as if I fpound some type of permanence, then five minutes later something gets done/said to put the doubt in my mind. I'm pulling for the permanence myself, and think she is to...
Well, with that, I do believe I am done with this coffee update. Until next time kids.
