Dispatches From The Front

OK....so...long time no blog....sorry for the delay people, just been a busy couple weeks I guess....got some developments in my life that are sorta sweeping me up and making me forget to notice the time fly by....it's a good thing trust me. Hahaha...trying to write this while also being nice to an attention starved cat. So....gonna have a new temporary roomie/houseguest for a while, which I am very pleased about. So glad that I can help out while someone takes hold of their life and grabs ahold of every opportunity...plus they just make me smile anyway so this works for me as well haha.

Ummm what else, oh yes, still on the job search....trust me I am searching too....just hard to get the good jobs, and the bad ones are just as difficult because to be honest, it is hard for me to fake any interest in sticking around if I get offered something better. So, for the time being, I have decided to start writing some articles. Nothing big, just going to pick away at some ideas I had while in school, plus some general interest/humour whatever that pops into my brain. Wrote a dumb but I also think funny article about, well, writing articles...sent it off to a magazine in Montreal. No word yet if they'll want it...but regardless, it was a symbolic first step. Now...I just need library access like I had in Halifax to write my scholarly articles.

On a sad note....I was informed that back home in NS a good friend's young sister died rather suddenly and tragically. Don't think I can make the funeral myself as I'm broke and have plans here in Moncton at the same time...but if not I know the rest of the gang will be there representing me...and I will convey my condolences in another form anyway. Always sad when this happens, but now at all times, as there is a wedding in the family planned for this fall....hard to take I must imagine.

Well as you can see...life does seem to go on in all ways good or bad, regardless of whether you notice or not. Sorry...just reading this back and it's all sinking in....plus I'm listening to some music I acquired recently that has a personal connection for me...and is also somewhat depressing...but in a fun introspective way....haha if you know what I mean great, if not? Well...trust me it's fun...like living in a movie and hearing the soundtrack. OK, Lee out....take care all...
