For some silly reason I have that dumb-ass crap song stuck in my head-it's making me laugh however, so I won't try to pry it out with a sharp object...yet.
Well, I went and did it. I told the band that there is a very good chance I will be leaving Halifax, and that it might be time to look towards replacing me. It went much better than I ever could have hoped is all I have to say. Also, the last show with me on bass-still far away at this time, will be an awesome long with a super long set.....I'm looking forward to it already. I know I'll never be a rock star, that's cool, but for the next couple of months.....I so am hehehe.
NYE, well, what can I say about that......wow.....it's been awhile since I ever stayed up that late.....and I thought my brushes with 5 and 6 AM that I've had lately were bad enough. Now, I'm not a lightweight, but the last time I ever did stuff like that was in the first few years of university....not really that long ago, but far enough that I was out of practice. Took me all day to recover. I have also dubbed January 1st as "International Day of Recovery"....seems apt.
I had fun....the party on Lawrence Street seemed as if it might be tiny, but by 2-3AM....that was shattered. Yikes, almost as crazy as the Xmas party, there was a Dance Party in Peter's room again, which I was drug into by not one, but two ladies....while a third fed me shots......fucking lovely hahaha. I did OK booze-wise this time.....no drunken passing out.....just over-tired passing out. At least I didn't have to drive to Fredericton in the morning like some people.....ouch. Speaking of Freddy, thanks girls for the gift, all the booze, and for showing me how much you appreciated me staying in town. I have ditched you a couple of times I guess so I definitely owed you a good time....also, white-water rafting-don't forget.
Oh crap, almost forgot....currently listening to Veruca Salt-"Seether"......although that just came on.....before it was Weezer for a while. Well, that's that kids. School starts on the 4th.....I am now counting down the days until I turn 26.....I'm still single, but working on it....for some reason I felt like doing an inventory there-maybe because everyone else has been doing it around me lately. OK, come back Lee.....inventories....you already did that like two posts ago buddy. I just need to rip up my classes, wait to see what I get offered as far as a government gig goes, and well, party like it's 1999.
a bientot.

Are you seriously thinking of leaving? Where would you move to?
It's all still speculation at this point, but I applied to work for the government in Halifax, Moncton, and I believe I also said Sackville, NB....but I'm not sure on that one. I should probably just make a post about this huh?
Might be a good idea for those people who don't/didn't know.
what do you need to get a nice, cushy gov't job anyway? how much is the pay.......
yeah just blog about it! :)
