Still alive, despite all the alcohol everyone bought for last night. The sheer volume of Guinness I had bought for myself and had bought for me for my birthday left me with plenty to go around. I'll be drinking it all week I imagine. Never even touched the JD in the freezer, as Ian had bought some too. Yikes....all that, plus the huge amount the girls brought for daiquiris meant that no one was without a drink in their hand if they wanted one. There is still a lot of booze left in the kitchen too. Craziness.

It was a slow night too at first....see, I got-for some reason, trapped in the Valley way of things, which often involves drinking pretty early on and being tanked before midnight....not like the Halifax way of things, which often involves showing up late and staying up until dawn. I managed to skirt the two, although I did need to kick everyone out of my room at 5AM because I was going down, like it or not.

So, back to worrying about school for another week. I did a discussion/opinion piece tonight, so I'm back on track for the week hopefully. Gonna get up and do the workout until my arms hurt....so everything will be cool until....

....Thursday night at the Attic. The mystery show with the Alewives that materialized out of thin air seemingly...with Dan and I discovering it's existence after it was posted on locals late last week. We're doing it though. The only thing that worries me is that my birthday hits before we're even scheduled to go on stage. Yikes, I hope no one tries to/lets me get drunk....I really don't like "working" with a buzz on, does me no good at all really. Then after that, I get up, get my ass to Moncton, and do Lee's birthday celebration part 2. I guess it involves a trip downtown with some people....I'm sure drinking is on the agenda.

Funny, this is slightly out of character for me....the whole, loud, drunk, not-as-shy Lee, don't really recognize the guy too much. Wondering if it's a phase, or am I "coming out of my shell". Time will tell on that one I suppose. I'm sure it's a phase, and I'll be back to boring Lee soon, but I can see how some aspects of this new guy may stick around after the dust has settled.......(Although even with the new attitude, Mindy still says I need to get out more....who knows, maybe I do, but that has more to do with me "finding someone" I think...)

Anyway, that's the scoop....busy as hell all week, then the show, then "so long" until Sunday night I guess. Hey,. isn't Valentine's Day coming soon? Need to watch out for that so I can avoid it....just thought of it as I sat here imaging my schedule for February. Not that I hate it, but it's been nothing in my life really....I was attached for one VD of my life, and that night she had to work anyway...it's never really factored....why am I typing about this now? VD rants are better closer to the day.....and now I'll make a joke because it says "VD" haha....Lee you are so juvenile...
